Holt Renfrew, the luxurious Canadian department store, has become my new favorite spot for whenever I want to buy that special gift for a friend or family for momentous occasions. While I still miss perusing 5th and Madison Avenues in NYC during Christmas madness, Holt Montreal has slowly but surely won me over, for everything from an indulgent shopping experience to a quick lunch with friends.
Now that we’re just weeks away from one of the best times of the year, Holt stores have transformed their windows into beautiful Christmas inspired settings, full of fantasy with giant Christmas crackers, and chic Christmas mannequins and decorations. The Christmas theme for this year is Christmas Imagined By Holts.
The holiday kick off was quite festive! The evening was also part of a charity event, with 10 percent benefitting the Children’s Wish Foundation, while shoppers were entertained by dancers, singers, musicians, a DJ, and spoiled with sweets and beverages throughout the evening. My favorite part of the evening was opening the crackers for prizes and feeling like a kid again. Through 12/20 customers can use the hashtag #ChristmasImaginedByHolts to share their wishes or their in-store experience, and seven lucky people will have their holiday shopping wishes granted.
